There's an unknown factor with Monroe, he could be a really special talent above alot of the fighters people are anxious to see Golovkin fight like Lara, Quillin, Jacobs, Cotto, Alvarez, or he could truly be another journeyman level fighter like Adama or Stevenson (who frankly gave Golovkin tougher fights than the higher ranked fighters like Geale, Macklin, and Rubio ever did).

Either way I'm looking to see how Golovkin handles this style and hoping Monroe does turn out to be something special and gives us a great fight.
I assume you mean Stevens, not Stevenson. And he did not give GGG a tougher fight, GGG carried him until his corner stopped the fight. He would have carried him until the 12th before knocking him out if he had been allowed to. Golovkin wanted to teach him a lesson about respect by beating it into him.

nah, I've seen his fight vs Vera, he's not that fast and gets hit too much for a defensive fighter, plus he has 0 power, ggg beats him with ease

Stevens certainly did give Golovkin a tougher fight than Macklin, Geale, Rubio combined. Gennady had no respect for their power and just walked them done quickly. With Stevens he show'd alot of caution, especially early in the fight.

He didn't really respect Vera since he was able to do anything he wanted. I definitely seeing Monroe giving GGG a fight tomorrow, he's got skills.

Yeah Golovkin was certainly more aware of Stevens power, he had to be a little more defensively responsible in that fight until he broke Stevens down. Stevens loves to shell up and then try to land a monster counter, gotta be cautious about that.

I remember Stevens getting knocked down by GGG, and I remember Stevens getting battered from one ring post to another - almost like cinema. Yes, Stevens was a game challenger, but at no time did I see him hurting GGG or in control of any part of the fight.
