That didn't come from Gabriel Montoya, it came from Thomas Hauser.

All they can do is ban you from fighting in Nevada. Maybe in UFC thats a bigger deal, but not such a huge deal in boxing.

Nothing happened to Lamont Peterson. He got stripped of one belt. Thats it.

Also, why are sedatives banned? Its pretty common for fighters to take a sleeping pill the night before a fight. Seems harmless.

no doubt that whole post about floyd failing drug tests 3 times and all that crap while naming un named sources and giving no proof was honestly ridiculous. hauser is a very respected journalist but this was an obvious character assassination if he would of just showed a ounce of proof i would believe him but all his proof was un named sources

Bans from a state commission usually carry throughout the US.

California revoked his licence for 1 year, maximum penalty.

He fought in Mexico like 16 months after that, could have fought there before but he would have never been allowed to fight in the US again. This was against Garcia.

After that is when he went to Manny and Texas made him go make his case to California first before allowing him to get a license there. California denied his case, but Texas was still cool reinstating his license.

18 month boxing suspension is outrageous for weed. What the hell are they thinking? It's not a PED. And that's what they should be concerned with here. Completely missed the damn point on this one.
Well Denver will see a rise in boxing matches between pot heads now.
