Errol Spence Jr. vs Marcos 'El Chino' Maidana @ 147 - WHO WINS?

It would be a step up fight and a name opponent for Spence. Would he be ready if they met in the ring in 2015 or 2016? I don't know. There's a chance Maidana ruins Spence. Or we could have a chance to see how special Errol is.

If we are talking the fully primed Broner/Mayweather version of Maidana i think the choice should be obvious. Spence is talented but he has not seen anything close to what Maidana brings.

Though if Maidana's weight situation is as bad as they say then maybe Spence could have a chance against an unmotivated post prime Maidana.

We're taking about Marcos "El Chino" Maidana right now. We can't go back in time. 2015 or 2016. And how is he post-prime? LMAO The dude had three big fights in 9 months; he is letting his body recover.

As a big Spence fan. I would say Spence would probably lose at any point in 2015.

Depending on who Spence fights the rest of this year and parts of 2016 by late 2016 I could see him beating Maidana.

I didnt mean he is post prime, just that he could be due to weight gain and maybe not giving much of a **** since his big paydays.

If Maidana is still in top form he kills Spence.

Maidana beats him currently. If he progresses like he has and fulfils his potential, he should be ready to face and beat Maidana sometime in 2016.

Maidana's style is tailor made for Spence. Spence will pick him apart and stop him late. Easy work imo.

Current Maidana? I'll go with Spence.

I don't think Maidana has the hunger he once did now that he got the 2 paydays.

I'd like to see Maidana fight at 154 to see if his power carries.

I'd pick Spence, even at this point

This reminds me of when people were so sure Broner would beat Chino. Didn't Spence just leave the Olympics a short while ago? He's gonna still have an ams style a bit. Maidana is too much, too soon for spence. Anyone wants to see that fight must not like Spence very much. Maidana takes him into deep water and starches him or wins a lopsided decision..

Unless the Maidana from Devon fight shows up. Still Spence gets bodied.
