      Obviously he can't. But he could certainly box in his younger days. He boxed against one of the best amateur middleweight classes ever and he was arguably the best of them all.

      But there's no question Abel has emphasised the seek and destroy side of his game. You could criticise him for that but he also has to get some credit for the phenomenon that Golovkin has become. Could he have got the same level of attention if he was a more conservative boxer-puncher? Maybe, but maybe not.

      Any guy coming to the US with no ethnic fanbase to tap into and no English is going to have to play every card he has.

                  I like GGG a d the way he fights so I'm not going to throw salt on him.

                  What I will say is Mayweather used to fight more like GGG when his hands were good and he was close to his starting weight class. I would totally understand if GGG changed his style after moving up to lightheavy (two divisions). That is hypothetical, by the way, but you get my point.
