Yes. But I would prefer he not waste his prime years waiting on guys that will never fight him. I say beat Lee and Lemieux then if Cotto and Canelo still aren't ready move up.

Not trying to offend you or anything man but resumes are like triangle theories, it doesn't work like that in boxing, so resumes don't mean ****..styles make fights man...and May Pac fight proved it...

Floyd's is considered the best lb 4 lb and 2. The MONEY.....
No it is audacious to make excuses for one guy not to challenge himself while asking another guy to challenge them self.

As for the rest that is fine and all but people usually have opinions for a reason and if they aren't being exactly honest in their criticism conflating different issues what does that opinion mean exactly?

At the rate he's going, I can see that happening easily. That's 16 fights away. Should be some great challenges along the way, but knowing him, in four years he could be there.

He could easily do that if he cherrypicked his opponents, avoiding a certain fighters here and there like some boxers do. If he fights the best available consistently, he will lose, that's a given in boxing imo.

Lemieux vs GGG is big drama show... somebody will have to be a good boy

Based on them Golovkin looks pretty bad if he's countered or forced to move backward/stop. It happened very rarely though because so far nobody could do it long enough. Because he is good and his opponents aren't exactly world beaters either.
And I don't know about sport when the high level would mean automatically that a sportsman/team can do all the styles in the particular sport. I'm pretty sure that George Foreman couldn't do slick defensive moves very well for example or Pernell Whitaker wouldn't be the best in a brawl.
Yes, but he's a lot slicker than people give him credit for.

                  • Floyd fans get salty real quick! They wish their buy was a killer hitter like a Strong Safety instead of a puny Chess player.

                    • If Floyd was fighting weak ass opposition like Golovkin he would have a knockout streak going too.
