His defense is average. I think that's his biggest flaw and could hurt him should he move up. But he's extremely skilled offensively.

When lower tier fighters like Stevens could hit him with any consistency that's a defensive flaw.

Yeah and Stevens just really isn't that good. GGG gets hit way too often.

I don't think we see Canelo in there with him for a long time, if ever. No reason for them to do it.

Monroe doesn't punch hard enough to deal with Golovkin. GGG does not fight well going backwards and that is the only way Monroe can win. Otherwise it's going to be another Golovkin beat down.

I don't think he literally meant he can box as good as Floyd or like Floyd boxes style wise guys. I just think GGG meant that like Floyd, he can "also" box and not only maul people how he does. Not saying he's as good a boxer as Floyd or nothing like that. Give the beast a break. I still don't think he would beat May at 154 though. Still to flat footed and slow on his feet. May would find a way to avoid engaging dangerously for 12 rounds as he does. Man is a masterful boxer.
