Monroe is kidding himself. He'll run for his life as soon as he feels Golovkin's power. But at least he had the guts to face GGG. More than Cotto or Quillin can claim!

You can't beat GGG without "attention getting power" at the very least. I believe you have to at least carry enough power to make him uncomfortable and take advantage of his mistakes. Monroe might have the boxing skills but lacks on the power department to which will open the door for him to capitalize with his boxing skills.

i watched Monroe's fight with Vera the other night. hadn't seen him fight before but it was an impressive performance. shame he's getting GGG'd on Saturday because i definitely saw potential for him to climb the middleweight ranks. can't just go straight to the top though

I hate to see this kid thrown to the wolves. He has potential. Great amateur background, good boxing skills, but he has literally just started fighting 10 round fights.
