I would be quite happy with GGG/Mayweather at 154, but I would not take the fight very seriously, and I would not be giving Mayweather too much credit for that win.

Boxing has divisions for a reason..... best to keep it that way ^^

Lara, the natural JMW, would be a better challenge for Floyd at 154.
Lara would be a better challenge if Floyd wants record low PPV numbers for some reason. Also much better for his health, for sure.

There are 30 fighters between 147 and 154 who have done more to earn a shot at Mayweather than GGG. He needs to STFU and fight a quality opponent. If he beats that opponent, then he will earn the right to call out Mayweather without being viewed as a joke.
Where do you find 30 haha..more like 3. GGG presents a new weight class & KO power. Be like Spinks vs Tyson doe.. Hahaha

You follow boxing? You notice there hasnt been a Haymon fighter on HBO in over 1.5 years? Has their relationship gotten better or worse since? Would they start working together over a guy topping the anti Gatti ratings, who's an overwhelming underdog to GGG, pretty much no hope of winning?
Who does the bold refer to ?

That earlier excuse-maker tried to state that Lara brings nothing to the table for GGG..... so I want to know what GGG brings to the table for Mayweather?

Your network excuse is also noted.

And btw, you ducked this post TWICE !

        I agree, but.....

Mayweather would outclass Matthyse in a one-sided fight, that fight has never been mentioned, and NEVER will be. Mayweather would be ridiculed for mentioning Matthyse as a potential opponent.

And yet, Pacquiao is on Mayweathers level, right ?

This shht cracks me up man.

Why cant people just lock their feelings away, and keep it real.

There are not 30 fighters there who are way too good for their division, with the only challenge being p4p #2 one division up

I didnt duck that, I just skip over most of your posts. Theyre dumb, tedious, and easily dealt with, as you saw. Sometimes off topic like this above.

So you dont know about the HBO Haymon rift, and you go around calling others casual fans lol

You just keep continually reinforcing my opinion.....

You casual fans, have no understanding/feel for the game whatsoever.

Because of styles, and because Lara is a genuine JMW, who will be in much better shape at 154 than GGG..... Lara would be the sterner challenge.

Sorry if that information is insulting to your current bandwagon.

Everyone and his brother calls Mayweather out. GGG is just one of dozens of fighters who wants to get in the ring with Mayweather. He is a nobody, except on this message board, just like all the others. Floyd will finish his career in September against another welterweight. If GGG wants to make a name for himself, he should do what Floyd did -- move up in weight and fight the best guys in the division and defeat them. Guys at 168 and 175 are waiting on GGG, yet he continues to fight sparring partners.

In fact, if someone asked Floyd Mayweather about GGG, his response would probably be same as when someone asked him about Ronda Rousey: "I don't even know who he is."

BTW, this is a hypothetical discussion about who would be likely to win a potential matchup.

nd you decide to bring up netoworks LOL

Reply to that post you asshat, I dare you.

You ducked it, because it burned ! LOL

I said there are 30 guys between 140 and 154 who have done more to earn a shot at Mayweather. By earn, I mean they have fought and beaten quality opponents. There is no reason to waste his time on a 160-pounder who is trying to make a name for himself off of Mayweather's reputation.
