I guarantee you have to take a cocktail of medication everyday to maintain even a semblance of a balanced individual.

Admit it. You love floyd more than his most hardcore fans.

This is why fighters need to stay active and in shape between fights. Young guys 25< can lose weight quick but once you are over that age and fully grown, it hella unhealthy. Fighters that stay around their fighting weight have the longest/best careers ie. Floyd & BHop.

Its true fighters who don't put on more than 10 pounds above their weight have the longer careers. Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, these guys stay in shape year round and don't bloat up like Chavez Jr or Maidana or Hatton.

Brandon Rios is finally staying in shape he only weighs 15 pounds over the 147 limit he stopped drinking as well he used to balloon to 180.

The issue with boxing today is that boxers are no longer fighting at the weight that they should fight at. They balloon up between fights and dont take care of themselves. gaining 5-10 lbs between fights is ok, but 20/30 lbs is damn near a death wish. Thats why you HAVE to respect the work ethic of a Floyd or Manny because they take care of themselves between fights.

There should be day of the fight weigh ins like yesteryear. I believe it would fix SOME of these issues, not all. A lot of these fighters have HUGE weight advantages on fight night ala JCCJr and that isnt far or healthy!
