Last night in Hollywood, California, the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation presented their annual event in conjunction with the B. Riley & Company. Proceeds from the event, along with a silent auction, went towards research and awareness for a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and to educate children to live healthier lives through diet and exercise. Welterweight contender Chris Van Heerden of South Africa headlined the card and knocked out Ramon Ayala at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland.

Leonard had two of his most famous former opponents present, Tommy Hearns and Terry Norris. There were plenty of celebrities in the house and boxing personalities like Michael Buffer, Mia St. John, Laila Ali, Mike Lee, Hassan N'Dam and Sergio Mora.
