Any fighters come to mind when you hear the term "unfulfilled potential"?

I was going through youtube and among the videos found this fighter. I remember him making several appearances on HBO and Showtime while being trained under Floyd Mayweather, Sr. He had a showdown with Humberto Soto and I distinctly remember being given the nod in a questionable decision against a fighter from Africa named Ali Funeka. Watching this highlight video shows all the potential he had and makes you wonder what could've been had he not ran into his so many issues with weight.

Don't mind the title, it's very well done, and even better if you understand Spanish.

    What a shame, though...

I think Adrien Broner might be on that path if he wishes to campaign at 147

At least Taylor beat the great Hopkins twice and drew with another great in Winky Wright.

Hence the catch weight. I like him coz hes funny...his pre fight antics are better than his fights IMO.

That's the thing about Hopkins, you beat him like Jermain you're ruined career wise...you lose to Hopkins you're ruined career wise (Pavlik & lots more).

Yes Jermain Taylor beat Hopkins twice and won the middleweight title a couple times but even still..he should of gone on to be one of the greatest of all time P4P. He had all the athletic and boxing skill to do so..just no heart.
