There are other 154 pound fighters and 160 pound fighters who will fight him so that he is not chasing a 147 pound fighter who really has to eat just to make that weight. What are you going to say that Floyd needs to fight Kovalev next? LOL. Would you say that if Kovalev chased a fight with Froch or if Kovalev tried to fight Chavez Jr. That's two weight classes down.
You really DKSAB do you? Chavez Jr. just fought and lost to Fonfara at a LHW catchweight. That's ZERO classes down from Kovalev and Froch would be only ONE division down, not two.

Next... GGG is not trying to fight Mayweather. He was simply answering a question that everyone and his cousin has jumped on because they are too ****** to understand the context or even aware of how the question was brought up. In other words, people are ignorant idiots.

And once more for another person too ignorant to actually follow what is happening in the boxing world... Ward has stated that he needs a couple of tune up fights before considering a fight against GGG. Just this past week he requested that GGG's camp cease from mentioning his name. Hardly the actions of someone eager to get Golovkin in the ring.

Now how about you go and do a bit of research and learn what is happening in the sport of boxing before you continue to make such a total fool of yourself.

golovkin doesn't fight anyone good,he's after b and c level fighters so monroe has no chance if he did then golovking wouldn't be fighting him

I like this fight, not for the level of it, but for the style of it.
Monroe represents the so called "way to beat him" style. but seeing enough videos of the nice counters that GGG likes to throw, even to those annoying jabs. I see Monroe just getting out-classed and caught with a body shot after the round 6th.

In my humble opinion, I think the only way to "beat" golovkin its a dirty fight, with the "attacker" always as the bigger man, and take him out off balance, obviously pop shot all night long.

As an example, see salido vs lomachenko.

If there's one thing that will bother GGG in this fight, it will be his movement, not his punches. Monroe's punches won't do anything to deter Golovkin.
