I'm not sure, I'm not even sure if he'll fight again this year lol

But the fight will be built as the coming together of two of the best fighters on the planet and that's not happening this year.

I reckon Jack or DeGale are a good shout for Ward's next opponents.

....or he can move up to 168 where all the top guys would be willing to fight him, but his fans don't want to hear that option.

As for HBO not having the budget in December, that is ONE month out of the TWELVE Cotto will have been out of the ring. GGG has had FOUR fights in this time period and Cotto could have been the opponent for any one of them if he had the spine for it.

You can 'document' as many excuses as you want but they remain excuses and nothing more.
It's called just following boxing. Go look, reports on HBO being out of money, Cotto stating he'll wait to Janurary because of it. Canelo/Clottey happening, Canelo then pulling out... It's called a timeline fool, I just put it in order. But go ahead and argue because again, in your fox news world, it doesn't agree so it's inherently wrong. It's not that you're wrong, like Bill O' Reily you're always right, there is no other option. You can repeat it as much as you want, but the facts are what I stated.

Frame it however you like, the FACT is that instead of facing GGG, Cotto chose to face a guy GGG demolished in 3 rounds, AND is drying him down to 157.

                Call it what you like..........

Yeah, it's called taking a voluntary defense he was granted by the organization who considers him champion. In fact, when you win the title your first defense is automatically a voluntary. Anyone with a WBC title gets this treatment, you're just yet another person mad that Cotto didn't get beat down by Sergio so it's on to the next one.
