I think he improved his punching speed... Some hooks looked pretty fast.

Some of yall just have too much malice and hate in your hearts.

Wasn't impressed and I am never impressed with anyones mitt routine. Its just the mitts its not meant to be impressive.

Floyd has brittle hands that have been broken before. So some of yall really expect him to go all out on the mitts and heavy bag? WTF kind of sense does that even make!

GGG & Manny are power punchers so I would expect them to hit the mitts and heavy bag differently than Floyd who is not a power puncher but is more about accuaracy and speed.

How all 3 fighters hit the mitts and heavy bag shows up in how they fight and all 3 are at or damn near at the top of sport.

So WTF are any of yall really b!tching about?

His punching technique is beautiful. That and his balance are top notch. He has flaws elsewhere but not there.

Exactly right. The expression 'you fight the way you train' fits perfectly here.

You could look up many examples and pick on what works and what doesn't but it doesn't matter. These guys train how their style suits them, and so they should. Look at George Foreman, his heavy bag work consisted of standing there and smacking a dent into it...now some people would say that is ineffective but they would be missing the point of it being Foreman and his style was suited to that type of power punching, you would not see him light on his toes and flicking out jabs and the odd 1,2 on the bag and then get in the ring and try to corner his guy and **** away because you train the way you fight and fight the way you train, or at least you should anyway.

Abel is meeting triple G's punch with the mitt and it sounds harder. It helps with the stamina to get that type of resistance.

Triple G delivers his punches with good technic and balance

Since you want claim small fighters well ggg can at least make 154 but ward is a hell of lot bigger then ggg why should ggg go up in weight their is no money fights except for froch. Ggg rules 154-160 he should clean out both divisions before even thinking about moving up.
