Comments Thread For: David Price-Erkan Teper Will Head To a Purse Bid

There will no agreement between Z! Promotions and Sauerland Event with respect to the fight for the vacant EBU heavyweight title between Erkan Teper (14-0) and David Price (19-2), and the parties involved have asked for an earlier deadline for purse bids.

Purse bids will now be opened at noon - Rome time - May 19 instead of May 25.

Price has won four fights in a row since getting knocked out in back to back fights with dangerous veteran and top contender Tony Thompson.

Teper isn't as good as Thompson

Price can stop this guy... a ko of Teper will boost his confidence for future fights.

This isn't a bad fight. They are at the same level in my opinion. Both guys have some decent C level wins. Price stepped up twice & got ko'd. Duhaupus is the best win between the 2 of them. Both guys have serious power so it could be a short fight. If price can't beat teper he will never be a serious threat for a world title. This is teper's chance to add another name to his resume. The winner will get a generous rank & be considered for a future title shot or eliminator...

Both guys have some power and are awkward.

              Someone is definitely going down.

Any word from their respective camps ? Teper must want this, not so sure on Price.

It sounds like Price is pursuing this fight and not Ustinov

I see Ustiniv as an easier opponent, he's so slow and cumbersome, he reminds me of that goof Shrek.

I don't understand why anybody would be rattled by that dude, that said Thompson has like zero power and Price crumbled. It's a sorry story his isnt it, thrown to the wolves by Maloney, all so he could raise the money to have his pecker cut off sooner, not before it all back fired and exploded in both their faces.
