This is a pick'em fight, Marriaga already has a win over Walters in the ammys so he knows what to expect. He's a good pressure fighter with solid defense, knockout power, and is fundamentally sound. On the other hand, Walters is a different animal in the pros, he has more experience and against the bigger names like Donaire and Darchinyan.
I question Walters' ability to take a punch, Donaire was fighting two divisions above his natural weight class and was still able to hurt him, it will be interesting to see how Walters' chin holds up against a guy who's just as strong and can hit just as hard. With that being said, I'm picking Walters by late TKO, he's fighting with the added incentive of avenging a loss and it might just be the intangible asset that could determine the outcome of this fight.
