If Kovalev is such a bad @$$, why not try the Cruiserweight division?

Of course. Nobody moves to cruiserweight unless they can't make 175 anymore. When was the last time you saw a major cruiserweight fight on HBO or Showtime? Probably Toney-Jirov many years ago. There is more money and prestige at lightheavy. That's the reality of this.

Yeah it is like the red headed step child division. Can't make 175 and to small for heavyweights. I've often wondered why they have never added a division in between 175-200.

Why should he? Because a couple of boxing fans on the internet want him to? Hell no! He's having fun and has plenty of ass to whoop before he contemplates moving up, he has no problem with the weight so no reason to move up yet. Same for GGG.

Kovalev would wreck 'em. But heavyweight would be a bridge too far.
