I'll bet on Green against anyone in the SMW division man just out of pure fanbias. Give him five or six more fights....and I'd say he's ready for anyone in a serious sense.

The guy has something you can't put your finger on. He can box, slug, or fight dirty. Whatever it takes to win.

I think he has the confidence to fight anyone anywhere too.

ya he would, im worried for Ward, he seems like a really good person, but just like you said about green having IT, I don't think Andre does. that chin is too weak. Green also has that touch of arrogance that most great fighters seem to have.

He fights, and looks like a guy who's been fighting for years. Before the Codrington fight I stated...that was Man v.s. Boy in there, and Codrington was not on Green's level. The look on Jaidon's face, and the look on Green's face told the tale right before the fight and I was so confident he was going to destroy him....I kept haranguing Masterdirector over and over. He was like "Yeah well see *****, when your boy gets demolished".

After that fight he diminished posting because one of the "chin checkers" got completely demolished. Sure...I felt bad for Codrington...but in the same sense. People over reacted after that fight. Everyone was critiscising Green for doing his damn job.

What? was he supposed to feel sorry for hurting Codrington? that makes no sense whatsoever. It's a damn fight not a disco danceoff.

i read that Curtis "showtime" Stevens, the other chinchecker, badly wants to fight Green to avenge his stablemates loss. Di Bella said he ain't putting Stevens in with Green for MANY more fights. in hindsight, Di Bella or who ever is advising Codrington really ****ed him in the ass

Stevens want's nothing to do with Green man. He's too short...there must be a six inch height difference. Green would simply box his damn ears off for a decision perhaps stopping him late. I doubt he would rush in there and take him out like he did Codrington...but I could be wrong.

Damn...that's an outstanding matchup.

I think Green's hands aren't as fast as Calzaghe's....but. He's a tad bit more fleet footed and doesn't necessarily rely on ring intelligence like Calzaghe does....IE using veteran tactics.

That's so tough to call...I like both guys: That would be an ultimate test for Green's chin though. If he can withstand the punches Lacy dishes out, he'd be ready for anything.

But once again..give Green five or six more fights and I'd say he's ready for Lacy. Lacy is definitely ready for him.
