    I think Green's hands aren't as fast as Calzaghe's....but. He's a tad bit more fleet footed and doesn't necessarily rely on ring intelligence like Calzaghe does....IE using veteran tactics.

    That's so tough to call...I like both guys: That would be an ultimate test for Green's chin though. If he can withstand the punches Lacy dishes out, he'd be ready for anything.

    But once again..give Green five or six more fights and I'd say he's ready for Lacy. Lacy is definitely ready for him.

    before the Calzaghe fight i would have said Lacy immediately, but joe's gameplan can be duplicated, obviously not to that extent but enough to trouble jeff. i actually think that sparring all those rounds with Winky Wright HURT Lacy!!! Winky stands in front of you allowing a puncher to plant his feet, Calzaghe fights nothing like wright. Jeff could never get set against Joe.

      So true.

      Joe turned Lacy around and landed at will. I also thought that slapping technique was pretty damn cool...even though I heard a bunch of people whining about him being a "slapper". He used extreme veteran tactics.

      The fight I really want to see down the road however is Green v.s. Calzaghe at Light Heavy. Simply because both guys are starved elephants at super middle....and have no damn reason to fight there anymore. Both admitted they kill themselves to make that weight....both are tall (above 6').

      1 year from now....perhaps in the states...or Wales... I don't care. That fight will be great.

      IMO Calzaghe will destroy Tarver at light heavyweight, and establish himself there...you can mark my words.

        The day anybody destroys Tarver i will rejoice, in several boxing articles they are calling him a future hof'er, i can't believe this! he is catching guys at the exact right time!. Joe would kick his ass, but Tarver knows better than to take that fight. ;

          Yeah....he might have to man.

          Calzaghe openly stated he's moving up because he cant make super middle anymore. Tarver "supposedly" is going to move up to heavy or cruiser or whatever he's talking about. I really don't see him being successful at that weight...and you know what?

          Jirov might be coming back down to cruiser permanently. Lets see if Tarver has the balls to actually fight him there...which I doubt. Either way that's another tale to be told.

          Tarver is not a future HOF'er unless he beats a guy who wasn't past his prime.......or past his prime. IE Jones and Johnson. Sure he beat Harding but then again....ask Scully and he'll tell you. Harding in his prime whips Tarvers ass over and over.

          LOL.

          And I only say this...because Scully sparred with all these guys.

            I believe it, Scully knows his **** from what ive seen, and he fought world class guys. gotta respect that. Jirov would be all over his ass at the cruiser limit, Jirov was kicking Moorer's old ass till he got caught. at cruiser he is a beast. Tarver just pisses me off, im sick of his ass.
