Cotto doesn't do exclusive contracts, he only did it with RocNation because they gave him $50 million. That's more than he's made against Floyd, Manny and Sergio combined (in guaranteed money).

Cotto isn't fighting Fraud, especially with Haymon and Jay Z's beef.

What you're failing to realize is that he only has to fight Canelo if he wants to fight Geale. He can pull out of the Geale fight and kill a Canelo fight no problem. He has no Obligation to them, yes he would have to pay compensation to Geale but not HBO. Hell, he could have still fought Geale without Canelo they simply would not have aired it.

If Floyd comes looking for him you better believe Cotto will answer the call. Fighting Canelo doesn't hold apples to rematching Floyd and possibly taking his 0. Floyd would put up huge money and probably cover Cotto's legal cost because for him it means he is the Lineal Champion in 3 different classes at the same time if he doesn't relinquish his belts. He legit non catch weight titles in 6 different classes, and get his 49th straight victory.

In one fight Floyd can hold every major record minus most knockouts he will dole out good money to make sure that happens.
