When is the last time Mayweather or Pacquiao fought a Kirkland-level opponent?

lol it was a Floyd fan who put them in the thread title, I don't really see the relation between the two fights to be honest. Alvarez can't be praised because Floyd and Manny always fight better comp? (allegedly) What kind of nonsense is that?
On Kirkland, Sakio Bika is as agricultural as they come and he is a world champion who gave Andre Ward the hardest fight of his career (along with Boone). Provodnikov and Maidana have fought like relative cavemen for most of their careers, it doesn't mean they aren't amongst the best in the world at what they do. It's not always about perceived level of skill, intangibles matter a lot too.
Kirkland being out and having a novice trainer are fair grievances but Kirkland has earned his spot and reputation, he has good wins on his resume and came to fight putting it on Alvarez from the opening bell.
Maidana and Provodnikov are both more skilled and offer more than Kirkland.Comment

Sigh. Another **** rider with an agenda. Can't handle the kid stealing some of your gods shine with his knock out win. I wish Floyd would punch one of your guys Moms in the face while you watch in your TBE hat.
Fight of the Century= getting booed in your own back yard, in victory. Pathetic.Comment
