I'm wondering, since Canelo-Kirkland was used to shit on the fight, when is the last time these two fought a Kirkland level opponent, a no chin, no defense havin' ****** with old-man reflexes, I say WHEN?

Pacquiao when he fought Brandon Rios.

    Algeiri is pretty shi*ty too.

But I agree with the concept. Comparing that fight to Pac-Floyd was ****** as hell from the biased ass HBO crew. Of course they're buttmad.

Even Rios and Algieri >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kirkland. Rios is an all around superior fighter, pretty scary when you realize that.

Victor Ortiz has no chin and is a quitter, I'd also argue he's accomplished less than James. Algieri was an embarrassment in his fight with PAC.

I mean if you want to count a decent jab and a chin. Maybe he squares up a little better too.

But yeah, HBO comparing the two during their broadcast was pathetic.

As much as I dislike Ortiz, I'd have picked him to take Kirkland out. Just thinking, landing consistently would have allowed Ortiz' heart to stay in it. Also, in terms of skills, Ortiz is far superior as well.

Another question. Can you imagine the backlash their would be against Mayweather if he fought a low skilled opponent like Kirkland? lol

It's like, if that fight moved people then by all means lets start making mismatches.

People were quick to claim Pac got his shine back from the Marquez KO after beating Rios and Algeiri so I don't see why they won't match him up against some low-level, plodding bum in his next bout. The fact is, people DO get moved by mismatches, but it all depends on the standards they hold to certain guys. For Pac it's expected, for Floyd they demand greatness.

The first minute of the fight was intense, where James ambushed canelo and made him uncomfortable. Once James got hurt, you knew it would end badly. It was exhilarating if nothing else.
