If you don't know who willie monroe is then you're probably just a casual fan of the sport. I'm not saying he's going to beat glovkin but he's a solid fighter with good defensive skills and athleticism. Let's see how golovkin deals with a southpaw with good movement.

Is it just me or does Monroe look HUGE for a middleweight?
Anyway, i have never seen Monroe fight and i dont have to. The guy is not experienced enough to have a realistic chance against GGG. BTW GGG has a verry good footwork too. He cuts the ring of verry well, always in good balance and positioning. Good footwork is not just running. GGG has a verry good OFFENSIVE footwork. Lot of People dont realize what good footwork is.

That's a fact I'm aware of, however I would be glad if people would be aware of the fact the neither the defensive footwork is running but what I just said: defensive footwork. Stick and move.

One thing I really like about Monroe is that he said his mantra has been: you can be strong, but there will be people stronger than you and if you're fast there will be people faster than you, but you can always out think people. Now whether he can make it happen is another story. He does have brilliant footwork and won't stay on ropes inviting GGG to pound him.
