As long as he is in the 168 pound weight class he is not avoiding either of them. If GGG offers to fight him at 168 for good money Ward should accept. If he moves up from 172 to 175 then Kovalev is the best 175 pounder in the world and he should fight him. Ward is not much of a risk taker these days. He likes to fight close to home where they let him use illegal holding and hitting tactics. I doubt he will ever fight either of these killers because I believe either of them will knock him out and he knows it.
Who is Andre Ward Avoiding More: Kovalev or GGG?

what?
He's avoiding neither. One fights at 175, the other fights at 160. He himself fights at 168.
It would be different if both these fighters were in his division and were calling him out for his belt, and he said no. That would be avoiding them.Comment

ward should know the first step. accept that there is a higher power...the ref! follow his orders! no cheating! also the refs really should have to take some kind of reffing course that teaches them the rules. that could help boxing a bit.Comment
