Who is Andre Ward Avoiding More: Kovalev or GGG?

Ward fights on BET/HBO. GGG and Kovalev fight on Hbo. Ward's next fight is at 172. Ward has said he would fight Mayweather at 160. He's already cleaned out his division. Semi-retired for a few years, and the division is still cleaned out. Only a few decent foes left (like DeGeale). He said 3-4 years ago he would move up after the Super 6.

So who is he avoiding more?

I think he would fight GGG tomorrow. I'm not so sure he wants anything to do with Kovalev after the Hopkins fight.

To be fair I think GGG is way too small for Ward and both are using those threats to bounce publicity. A very small middleweight who drops 5 lbs to weigh in vs a gold medalist at 178 lbs.

Ward and Kovalev are not far off in dimensions yet he more or less keeps Kovalev's name out of his mouth... In fact he stated in many interviews he was headed to 175 until Kovalev won a belt then changed his tune almost instantaneously to ruling 168.

GGG is the one that said he had no interest in fighting Ward. Ward was inactive he would fight either guy after a tune up or two.

It'd be dumb for him to step in the ring with either one of them right now. He handles GGG after a couple tune-ups. He'd be labeled a runner against Kovalev. He needs to reclaim the division and gradually move up.

Kovalev because Kovalev is actually his size, where GGG is smaller then ward.

                  Neither.

We know Golovkin's people had to reign themselves in when Ward accepted their challenge a couple of years ago. Now they want the fight to "grow".

There's still some good fights at 168 before Ward moves up in weight.
