I wouldn't go that far. It's a very competitive fight. At this point Canelo has faced the bigger challenges. By far.

This will have the same problems as Mayweather vs Pacquiao, where even though they were both probably at around 150-152, people still saw Floyd as the "bigger" man, even though he wasn't. Floyd's height and reach advantage made him look "bigger". With GGG being almost 5' 11" to Canelo's fluctuating height (5' 7" in Showtime, 5' 9" in Boxrec), GGG is going to look bigger than he really is and in this case since they are of comparable skill, the bigger/taller man will win.

I would really love to see Lara vs GGG, Lara's 75" reach and boxing style would give GGG and his 70" reach, seek and destroy style all types of problems. Canelo will be there to get hit and KO'ed trying to go to war, while Lara will try to actually win. And yeah, blah blah blah, Canelo gets the respect at the end while Lara gets boo'ed for stinking up the place. But Lara would be the one to most likely leave with the W or a controversial loss.

Good fight but not bigger than Canelo vs Cotto.

He has definitely faced more difficult styles. Mayweather, Lara, Trout, could easily be 0-3 wide UD losses for any other fighter but Canelo was pretty competitive and beat Lara and Trout. Angulo and Kirkland can always KO you with the right punch. But None of these guys can punch like Golovkin, and Canelo has never taken a punch from a MW, and GGG is the most powerful MW right now. To go from 0 fights against MW's punchers, to a fight against the best, most powerful MW, GBP is asking for Canelo to get KO'ed brutally.

GGG will beat Canelo like a redheaded stepchild.

That never happened. Golovkin did get the best of (a 20 year old)Canelo in sparring, he didn't exactly dominate him. And he never came close to making him quit.

                    Mexican style fight?

Sorry Triple G but the Latinos only root for you when you're not fighting one. Canelo is their boy. If you fight in Tejas, you'll find out why soon enough.

Really? Did you see the Rubio fight? Overflowing stadium capacity, mostly Mexican fans and they were not cheering for Rubio.
