not really the point is to keep fighters from losing a ridiculous amount of weight and coming in too heavy fight night it keeps them from fighting at weights they dont belong in honestly it should be there for every fightComment

Watch your weight & what you eat to make the weight...once you make the weight you still gotta watch your weight + what you eat...that's ****** IMO. There shouldn't be any rehydration clauses at all, if fighters choose to rehydrate themselves up to 1-2 weight classes after making weight it's up to them. These guys kill themselves to make the weight, why drag on the misery till fight night?Comment

Exactly my thoughts, he struggles to make 147 as it is & he agreed to the catch weight!?! People are gonna go crazy in the "Adrien Broner Meme's/Be Like" thread if he still manages to lose with the catch weight+rehydration clause.Comment

im not sure which ones but i know a few do. u cant come in over 15% of your weigh in weight etc. u have to look it up but there are rules for it. maybe only applies to championship fights.Comment

considering the two names this is a good matchup, but i still don't think it makes much sense. i thought Broner was campaigning at 140 now? isn't Shawn a BIG welterweight? plus these catchweight and rehydration clauses...wtf? even when Haymon puts two good fighters in together he finds a way to look ******.Comment
