Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Has Whyte, Price in His Near Future

ANTHONY JOSHUA is set to face former amateur rival Dillian Whyte in September before a clash with fellow Olympic medallist David Price.

The 25-year-old London 2012 gold medallist sparked out Raphael Zumbano Love in two rounds on Saturday night and will take on durable Kevin Johnson on May 30.

Johnson is expected to give the heavyweight sensation more of a test than he has had in his previous 12 wins when they meet at O2 Arena.

Good fights. Both are much more capable offensively than any AJ has fought (or is sheduled to fight) and both would come to win.

Hopefully its not just hot air

Solid fights. Would have Joshua favourite in both though.

Joshua is going to steamroll these guys.

The only real threats for him are Fury, Wilder, and Klitschko.

He knocks all 3 of them out pretty easily before the 6th round, Price is a gassy bum

Price has a heck of a punch and AJ doesn't get him early, with his limited experience, Price can land some bombs and get Joshua out of there. I think he takes the extremely limited Whyte.

The upcoming Johnson fight should not be taken lightly, it's a very interesting test for AJ, against a guy who is a smart defensive fighter.

As I understand it the British title has been vacated by Tyson Fury, which would be a nice incentive for a Joshua/Whyte contest.

I can't complain about Gavern, Zambano Love, Kingpin, Whyte then david price all in one year. Good job by his handlers. If he wins all these fights he will be ready for prime time next year. the dillian whyte & david price fights are very interesting because they can both punch hard. I'd like to see AJ's chin tested.

Is that official ? He was on record stating he wasnt vacating about a fortnight ago, telling would be British title hunters to come and get it lol. Same old story with this guy, all hot air. Stop kidding your own fans and fight a competitive fight. This chump better go through with the Klitschko fight.
