It is what it is. You agreed with everything, floyd coming overweight at the expense of you getting 600k, you agreed with it, you agreed coming up drastically from lightweight to welterweight without any sort of tuneup looking like flabby baby out there, you agreed with it. Not every situation is the same. For every example you listed, there are dozens more like Mayweather/Marquez. Everyone knew it was a joke. The only reason anyone defended it at all was because of the catchweight, which wasn't even honored. BTW, Duran fought at welterweight before fighting Leonard. Mosley fought there before fighting De La Hoya.

And Pacquiao/De La Hoya was a joke. Just because the joke backfired doesn't mean it wasn't one.

JMM might be the most obvious PED abuser out of any sport. His body changes so much in between fights, more than the everage boxer by far. He seems to develop Hulk muscles

The whole fight was a farce. Coming up 2 weight divisions like that. JMM knew that though, so not complaints there...the coming over in weight was a snide move though. I don't blame him for moaning over that.

Two weeks before the fight he renegotiated the contract.

Originally, the penalty was $500k per pound, but the penalty wouild be paid to the commission, Marquez would get nothing.

Mayweather renegotiated the contract, saving himself 400k, the additional 600k going to Marquez.

It was a lame b1tch-move, but Mayweather did not miss weight.

It wasn't Floyd outsmarting anyone. It was them agreeing to a catchweight and Floyd pulling a bogus move and screwing him. It doesn't matter in this case though. Floyd would have schooled him anyway.

The weight - was a b1tch-move by Mayweather, he made no effort to make 146 - made no difference whatsoever in the outcome of that fight.

Marquez admitted that the catchweight was requested to " diminish " Mayweather..... so, if the subject is " b1tch-moves ", then there were two " b1tch-moves " made during the buildup to that fight.

FACT: Catchweights are completely unnecessary in a legitimate fight.

Marquez was either not good enough, or too small..... even though JMM KTFO6 Pacquiao at welter.
