This whole situation hurts both boxers badly as well as the sport. The only two en****** in a neutral position to talk about this are USADA and NSAC and they seem to be at odds. NSAC because of their whole "we'll be working with testing companies closer" and USADA due to the limits of what they are allowed to make public. In the end it's not the "fight" people are talking about, fight of the century has turned into "injury of the century". Pick which side you'll believe but I think this situation is worse now than if the fight never happened.

Most guys would have bailed on the fight. Manny had no choice but to fight through the pain. He didnt wanna disappoint. Its sad that Floyd fought like a coward and ran and clinched all night. Manny ****** too dont get me wrong but while fighting hurt for 8 rounds Manny tried to make a fight out of it and continue.
What these dumb flom0s dont understand is Manny wasnt gonna show his hand to a already fighting scared Mayweather. Why give him any confidence? Why act like their was an injury? Whay would Floyd had of done the? What would any fighter had of done? They would have took advantage of the wound. Cowards take wins any way they can get them. A win is a win and it dont matter how they get it. As you can see by his sh;t fan base.

Im disappointed in Manny for other reasons. But i can never say he isnt a courageous fighter or a warrior in the ring. Or he gives all he can in the ring.

Its very difficult. Attempting to postpone the fight might have killed it, given how difficult it was to get them together in the first place and Floyd's intention to retire. I can't blame Manny for going through with it. What's not right is trying to lay the blame for his performance on NSAC, although I do believe the injury to be legitimate. He decided to go through with the fight and at least bent the truth to make it happen. He made his own bed.

            No.

It only hurts the one that cried and complained.

Manny wasn't hurt. He fought like that because had he gone all out he would've gotten KO'd just like Hatton or Gatti.

He gave his all against lower level opponents but when faced against the best competition he dared not even engage. Cowardly performance.

This saga over the past 6 years showed us the real Manny-the guy who refused to fight because he knew he couldn't beat Floyd, the guy who tried to find out when he'd get tested, the guy who lies, the guy who wasn't man enough to throw punches, the guy whose skill set isn't that of one of the truly ATG fighters.

Liar, coward, phony that even faked a shoulder injury so he could get the benefits of Toradol.

You measure a man by what he does when faced with adversity. This scumbag didn't give his all, he did nothing, falsely claimed victory, then sheepishly had to turn to Koncz to be told his shoulder was hurt. What a piece of shit.

NSAC - No suspenssion for violence against women, grants promoters license to would promoters that violate their rules, allow one fighter to over rule the gloves they approved (Maidana), allow USADA to do their testing for them, allow one fighter to numb his hands for years without a Dr. note based on past complaints of hand problems... Where do they draw the line? Beating women, NO, deny promoter license to rules violators, NO, tell USADA to take a walk, NO, tell fighters that they approve the gloves not the fighters, NO, tell a fighter he can't numb his hand without a Dr. note, NO... They draw the line because a fighter didn't check a box yet listed the drugs he has been taking that were approved by USADA throughout camp...

To the guy that wrote this article, sucking it up is saying just give me a shot for the pain and lets go. Rather it be Kurt Gibson, Willis Reed, or the countless football players that ask for that same shot every Sunday... Get a grip, I guess if you admit to legit injuries now its an excuse... Funny because Manny got KOed by Marquez and didn't make an excuse... If there was a time to make an excuse that was the time.. In this fight which I don't think he was hit hard one time he was 4 out 36 rounds from a draw if the two 116-112 judges flipped 2 close rounds it would have been two 114-114 cards a technical draw... I guess USADA was in on the excuse too, an excuse that started 3 weeks before the fight, since they, USADA verified the injury and approved the treatment during training....

You think Pacquiao gave his all? I disagree he could have done much more to try and win injury or not. He wasn't willing to go out on his shield, he's no warrior.

Yeah, Floyd would've turned down 180million and risked getting sued because of a may 2nd date
