Well they were hands off because of the whole GYM lawsuit thing, but they'd just be paying for broadcasting rights.

How does HBO not show this?

I can think of a couple reasons. Lawsuit possibility and also is Lemieux vs N'dam really worth it for HBO to travel to Canada? Oscar would have to put together some other possible good fights or it would not be worth a truck roll.

I like the idea of the fight being put on FOX Over-the-Air broadcast, I think it would do well in the ratings, I'm sure FOX Sports 1 would pick it up if HBO doesn't. My guess is finding another fight to pair with it for HBO to want to show it which I'm sure they can get something done.

I forgot about the Broner/Porter fight, that could really hurt HBO ratings if it went head/head. LOL Ward. Either step off that date +/- a week or adjust the time away from the 144lb Battle of Ohio in Vegas.


Another possibility is Tru-TV. I seen HBO advertising for them last weekend.
