Comments Thread For: Lemieux vs. N'Dam TV Situation Still Not Resolved

This much is clear, David Lemieux and Hassan N'Dam are scheduled to fight for the IBF middleweight title that was formerly held by Jermain Taylor. What's not clear is just who will televise it in the States.

Eric Gomez, the V.P. and matchmaker for Golden Boy Promotions, told BoxingScene.com on Monday morning - "We're waiting on HBO, there's a chance they can do it but it's a little difficult for them because of their scheduling. But we gotta do this within 90 days( from the IBF purse bid) so there's time constraints. So if all else fails we're going to check to see if Fox(Sports1) wants to do it."

Just but it on free TV or basic cable. It's not complicated.

If it's in Canada it will be on Canadian PPV but if it's in the U.S. it wont end up on any PPV.

It really isn't. You just call the network president number they put on their channel, ask them to put it on there for free and poof, free tv

              HBO makes perfect sense...

If they can fit this one onto their schedule, HBO is being presented with a very good opportunity......

This is for a Middleweight title and GGG is HBO's boy and he wants to unify all the belts in the division....
This is one of those belts GGG wants to collect...... HBO can introduce one of GGG's future opponents by taking this fight.....

Makes good business sense to me, I'd like to see it.....

I'm driving out for this fight, rather get some decent seats than shell out 70 bucks for canadian ppv.
