But why don't the opponents...(those being hugged and held) do something about it?? what ever happened to not letting yourself be hugged and held?

how about some pushing? or some hitting in the back of the head or some kidney punches? I mean if the other person is gonna implement illegal tactics...why not fight fire with fire?? and let the other fighter pay the price for his tactics or he will stop doing it.....or better yet the ref would maybe start doing his job........

If you push your opponent away, you will get a warning and eventually points deduction. Hugging is more acceptable than pushing in boxing these days, which is a joke.

Yea if you can make a guy really reach for a clinch then they are so vulnerable. is it that hard to move in kind of like normal to make the guy reach then move back so the guy is opened up reaching to clinch and lacing them up with clean punch.


Doing that a few times would have to make a guy think twice.

Not Wlad, Ward, Mayweather or any of these fighters job to make things easy for THEIR OPPONENT! It is the OPPONENT Job to figure out how to beat the Champ...Regardless of his style.
