I do not like Floyd as a character that much but you have to give him respect especially when people were first saying his funeral was on May 2nd. It's funny how bitter defeat can be, it should be a lesson to not run your mouths and be so bitter over nothing, a sport that doesn't care about you and fighters who couldn't give a 'S' if you were dead or alive. Lot's of people need to grow up and learn respect

You have to understand that when people see one guy hunting the other guy down and landing the harder shots, they tend to think he won the fight, that's just the casual fan outlook. They don't think much of running/holding at all and that's why the fight was considered a relative dud.

Good for the Filipinos, Manny could've pulled out of the fight with injury but he gave the fans the fight, won a few rounds and went the distance. They're showing him appreciation, as they should.

Happens all the time. When teams over here in the states lose in say, the Superbowl, NBA Finals, NCAA title game in hoops, etc. their fans will give them a welcome back when they arrive back.

Floyd is to blame too because he had all the tools to whup on Manny more dominately but chose to coast for an easy win. Even Sr knew Floyd could do more and I myself was disappointed that he didn't because Manny deserved a beating not respect and I am sure now Floyd regrets not turning it up on Pacquiao because a KO or stoppage OR at least a thorough thrashing would have thrown all of Pacquiao's excuses out the window. No one but dislusionist believe him now though. Manny was marketed as the man to beat Mayweather but never fought any of the top WW's in the division. Manny was all show and entertainment while Roach is overrated.
