These are the same floyd fans who lived vicariously through Marquez KO of Pac.
Celebrating this win shows the truth that they treat Floyd as a king, he is their hero the man they look up to and want to be like. It was a horrible win in my eyes, his lowest punch out put ever in a fight, and he was missing a lot of shots and Pac hurt him.
The same Floyd fans who cry about Pac being injured, are the same ones who used Bradley and Mosleys injuries to discredit his wins and diss them.

As a "regular" Floyd fan, (and Pac fan) I said very little about this fight other than Floyd clearly won the fight and that Pac's efforts were limited due to the injury. I want to see a rematch. It would be nice if more people were this reasonable.
The thing that is pathetic are the Floyd fans exaggerating this victory, seriously they are boasting about this lack luster effort by Floyd, its the equivalent if Pac fans were boasting about Pacs win over Marquez in the 3rd fight which was his worst effort so far of all the fights but he still got the win.
Its not a win to boast about, as a regular boxing fan who picked Floyd to win, I wasn't impressed with either guy, but something was clearly off about Pacquiao. He wasn't himself, when he fought Algieri he was able to range find and time Algieri as he rolled out and Algieri was much faster on his toes than Floyd was, Pac didnt even unleash that left hand that he caught Algieri with, Pac was resorting to his old ways he looked like the Pac who fought Marquez in the 3rd fight just lack luster and no hunger like he was going through the motions and bored, and Freddie Roach had no gameplan. the one thing I would advise is that Pacquiao get rid of Roach, get a strategist trainer with smarts who will devise a plan for him, Roach is overrated in my book and he has hindered Pacquiaos growth.
If they do rematch they either have to cut the cost of the ppv or put that on Free tv because fans are not going to dish out another 100 bucks for a fight that left them with a bad taste.

To the media, he (and Roach) needs to talk like that. Its part of the hype and psychology. The injury was brought up to USADA and the drugs used was on the same form as this checked/unchecked box was. So the only big deal is this checkbox because BEFORE the fight, the commissions knew as well.
As for saying that they will win and they didn't that is besides the point. Manny still is who he is and can't always deliver. It's normal. You shouldn't be someone that is on the bandwagon only when your team wins. You can but shouldn't.

Pacquiao only came close to looking like that was his first time in a boxing ring with an elite fighter/boxer.
