Leonard beat Hagler the exact same way Floyd beat Pacquiao. Dancing, tying up, countering him, frustrating him. Racking up points with the jab. Hagler stalking all night looking like an angry pitbull that can't corner his meal. Sugar Ray won because he was the superior boxer.

Larry Merchant commentating called Leonard "tactical and smart". That same style is called "running and boring" when Floyd does it.

The fight was a split decision and many who had an unbiased opinion actually thought Hagler had won the fight. So in my humble opinion there is little comparison between what happened on May 2, 2015 and April 6, 1987.

That is EXACTLY what ended if for me as a fan of Mayweather for 10 years! He talked about buttfking Oscar and other crap that goes way past trash talk and sportsmanship! When I heard that crap Mayweather said about Oscar, a switch went off for good.

Muhammad Ali was hated more than Mayweather. Tyson was way more vulgar and disrespectful than Mayweather. Jack Johnson was the most hated boxer of all time. Seems like Floyd is in good company.

As far as Pacquiao, he deserves everything said about him, hes a classless coward and phony Christian . He put lives at risk with his fake injury stunt. People that made bets. Manny couldn't look in the mirror after that boxing clinic so he had to create an excuse to not fall into depression.
