They did try to make it the first time Lara called out Golovkin, and the networks squashed it. I don't know if they'd do so again, but both sides should try.

Lara would be forced to fight vs GGG because unlike Canelo, Golovkin cuts off the ring very well. I like the idea of a lil 4 man tourney.

I think Golovkin obliterates him. They should make it though, because apparently people are buying into Lara as some kind of threat. Golovkin doesn't have many fights out there people will buy as threats.

golovkin would F#CKING DESTROY lara. lara's people used to claim that he could make 147 lbs. at any rate, he's a smallish JMW.

GGG vs Lara would be good cuz Golovkin can cut off the ring very well. That's the key against guys who "run". Also, at least Erislandy is willing to fight GGG next unlike Cotto and Canelo. I like the idea of a mini 4 man tourney.

Because people are so insecure about the minute chance Lara can dance and make Golovkin look bad, even in losing, that they would rather it not happen. Most boxing fanbases are extremely insecure.

Politics/hbo/haymon thing. If HBO puts any bids on a Haymon fighter, it would have to be worth their time.

I mean if you really need more, well we have a very unmarketable, unpopular fighter, trying to get into a tourney with 3 massively popular fighters. Not going to happen.

A 4 man tourney would be great. Can do it all in one weekend. Just feed them one after the other to GGG and he could do 2 of them on Saturday and the last one on Sunday. He still would not get 12 rounds of work out of the weekend.

I admit its not the greatest fight and I pick GGG to win but its 2 world champions/proven veterans with strong amateur pedigrees in the prime of their careers. They are only separated by 6 pounds.

Get the damn thing done. They both need fights and are wasting their primes on guys like Delvin Rodriguez and Willie Monroe Jr.
