I personally would like to see this fight. However, coming down to 154 (as this is what I read in the article) for Lara fight is not an option for GGG, who is a prize fighter on HBO with high viewership and larger fanbase. If Lara goes up to 160 and gets on HBO, then we can talk. Otherwise it's just makes no sense to get over Haymon - HBO war for a fight with Lara at 154, it's too much hustle for a non-prize fighter.

Everytime Lara calls out Golovkin, he proceeds to fight a journeyman (Smith, Rodriguez).

He's probably feeling braver saying this after seeing the HBO/Haymon impass for Stevenson/Kovalev.

Lara really needs to concentrate on delivering an entertaining performance against Rodriguez, and nothing else. This is my biggest problem with Lara: he runs his mouth outside of the ring and then runs a marathon in the ring. He's sabotaging himself with the kinds of performances he puts on.

Stop talking and hand out some ass whuppings!

I feel Lara beat canelo 7-5 but they never gunna give it to him. Canelo is the future for Mexicans I feel. And he's had some wins off of top opposition recently and he's starting to grow on me considering I thought Angulo was gunna do him he's an action fighter and isn't afraid to fight big threats even though the judges favour him but I can't fault him for that

Truth is, while talented in his own right, Lara's style is a real snoozer. He shouldn't have even used the word "fight" because fighting is not something he comes to do. He's content with prancing around the ring while flicking jabs while on the move. I see no problem with using defense and movement so long as you're using it to set up an effective offense. Lara doesn't do this. He uses movement to avoid getting into an actual fight and tries to play "tag you're it" while constantly on the move.

GGG-Cotto = fireworks for as long as it lasts

                  GGG - Canelo = fireworks!

GGG - Lara = game of cat and mouse with GGG stalking and Lara running

So what? Golovkin knows how to deal with that. Lara's a great option for a fight while he awaits the Cotto/Alvarez winner.

What do you mean "so what?" When you're a paying consumer whether you subscribe to a network just to see entertaining bouts or pay to see these fights live, you have every right to voice your opinion, and my opinion is that I care not to see GGG in the ring with a guy who comes to play spoiler and run around the ring in order to avoid engaging his opponent.
