Far too late. Sadly, half these fools will go right back to saying "No one will fight Golovkin so he's forced to fight no-namers."
I'm honestly no fan of Lara and think his style lacks any entertainment value, BUT, he's legit opposition for GGG and to make excuses for this not happening is chickensht.

FACT: Lara has been in more exciting fights than GGG.

Put him in with a non-flat footed fighter, he'll be in an exciting fight.

Yea, he's a bore, but let's not pretend that he vs Canelo wasn't a hugely anticipated fight.
He'd be the first truly legit fighter Golovkin ever faced.

If Lara is willing to fight him at 160, then the fight shouldn't be a problem. Even if he is with Haymon, I'm sure Haymon is willing to send him out as a drone to fight Golovkin and try and pick up a win.

yeah cause Lara deceive everyone by actually being entertaining in the Angulo fight.

**** that dude, I'm half cuban and was lowkey cheering for him in front of my Mx fam just to be let down.

I rather sit and watch my dog chase his own tail for an hour than watch Lara back in the ring again

Lara responded to a comment made on Saturday night by Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who dismissed the possibility of a rematch.

They fought each other last year in Las Vegas, with Canelo winning a very close twelve round split decision. Both fighters had their fair share of supporters on who actually deserved the victory.

but, nobody wants to fight GGG doe

                      dey all scared doe

                      Lara will fight anyone.

His suggestion is clearly the best option for all concerned.

Canelo/Cotto is the best fight possible, and well-overdue..... also, that would be the best possible payday for Canelo, and the second best possible payday for Cotto..... so, a great suggestion imho.

GGG/Lara is not the best fight possible, but likely the most challenging fight to date for BOTH guys..... a win would establish Lara, and also give GGG some much needed credibility.

Good idea all round I say.

GGG and Cotto, are likely to be not interested in Lara's suggestion.
