Makes sense, though Texas has a history of odious scorecards. Things like that tend to favor guys like Canelo though so even more reason to go back.

i would love to have more fights here in Dallas, but you are right. i do remember some questionable score cards here in TEXAS. i saw the omar figueroa fight, he was definitely a recipient of some home cooking. the fight was in a phone booth for twelve rounds. a lot of holding and hitting on both part, but ricky burns was the only one getting verbal warnings and even a point deduction for holding. come on Lawrence Cole, let the fighters **** it out. also the fight was alot closer than what the judges had . it was a unimous land slide. what a joke. omar is going to be exposed soon. i hope this kid doesnt get hurt at 140, when he fights someone that can really crack.

Makes sense, most corrupt boxing commission in the US and world possibly, gotta give Canelo every advantage.

Good point. Texas has had so many bad decisions. I bet all of Canelo's most difficult fights will end up being in Texas.

I believe Texas has some excellent judges, even ones brought in from other states, but the refereeing is dubious...as long as Alvarez avoids FM he's ok...no problem w/a finished Cotto...they're buying time hoping GGG gets shop worn...still Alvarez is even money 2 beat GGG, IMO...

Well Canelo Cotto could easily fit more than 50,000 at the stadium but I doubt that fight comes here. But if it came to Texas cowboys stadium is a much better venue than anything San Antonio has
