Canelo is being unreasonable, so lets be just as unreasonable back, go ahead and move up and fight ward then since you want smaller guys to face you where you feel comfortable, how about moving up and fighting a guy that is bigger than you. It cuts both ways.

Well you're being unreasonable, Canelo is willng to face Cotto at 160, which is the same as Floyd coming up to 154 to face him. Fighting Ward for Canelo would be jumping two weight divisions. It cuts both ways.

lol the difference is that mayweather has two 154 belts and as such should be considered a fighter eligible for 154 matches. Pacquiao also had a 154 belt at one point, though a while ago it sounded like pacquiao wanted to move down to 140.

It allows Canelo wiggle-room when it comes to making weight.

He doesnt have to work so hard to stay inside his weight division.

Its a bit lame to suggest that no harm is done.

Pacquiao never fought a junior middleweight, despite holding a title at 154.

And recently - as you pointed out - Pacquiao mentioned dropping down to 140.

And yet now, not only do you think that Pacquiao would happily step up and fight Canelo..... you actually think he could beat him

I was purposely being facetious here, but wanting to wait two years for GGG and wanting Manny to move up is absurd and even thinking he will get Floyd after how bad he did the first time around is pretty absurd to.

That being said, the demands and restrictions canelo & oscar are making for future bouts is insane, Canelo has yet to look good against a guy who can box and acts as if he is in a position to make demands on a guy who already owned him and another guy who may be injured and cannot even make the weight are just as absurd as asking canelo to just nut up and fight ward.

Those fights wont happen. Canelo wouldn't beat Floyd in a rematch, Pacquiao has no need to move up in weight (or even take more than maybe 2 more fights before hanging them up).

I'd like to see Khan vs. Canelo

Khan is currently transitioning to welter, and Canelo can barely make 154.

I dont think that fight will ever happen.

Mayweather will likely rematch Cotto next, Canelo has a couple of interesting fights left at 154 but would most likely be better suited moving to 160 now..... Khan is left with Brook, because Mayweather/Pacquiao will never fight him imho.
