Hearing Oscar say this worries me as a GGG fan. I knew Canelo/Cotto would happen before either of them fought GGG but it sounds like if Canelo wins he's not gonna do it for almost 2 years at least. And if Cotto wins I don't think he'd fight GGG at all honestly. So basically GGG is going to be waiting around even longer while people say he is fighting nobodies even though he can't get a big name in the ring with him. They will say move up for Ward but Ward has already said he would need a few tune-ups before he'd do that and if GGG has to move up, that just makes the weight difference between him and Canelo/Cotto even bigger.

Will somebody please grow some balls and fight GGG soon, not "a few fights from now".

      "we're in different divisions"

Yeah, nobody is in your division. you have created your own weight class because you can' make 154, yet you won't make the next natural step to 160 because GGG is there.

That makes three fights in a row at MW weights. Canelo should be removed from all JrMW rankings as he no longer competes in that division.

Triple GGG is willing to come down to 154 to fight Mayweather, I wonder if he would come down to 155 for Canelo?

didn't golden boy sorta promise lemieux a canelo fight when they signed him? i reckon he will canelo's next fight after cotto, which means the golovkin fight can happen summer 2016 earliest. and that's all well and good but who the hell can golovkin fight in the meantime? andy lee and...? heiland? johnson?

Canelo probably weighs more than Golovkin on fight night.

Golovkin was only 170 fight night for Macklin. I don't know weights for Rubio and Murray, but I know Canelo has been at least 172 before.

Cotto or Canelo will be easy prey for Golovkin. It's going to be either:

                    or this:
