If eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao decides to call it quits, his longtime friend and adviser Michael Koncz would be very happy with him if he made that decision.
Pacquiao is recovering from last Saturday's twelve round decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the shoulder that followed a few days later on his injury right shoulder. Pacquiao entered the fight with a right shoulder injury and further tore his rotator cuff during the fight.
The Filipino star is under contract with Top Rank until the end of 2016, but there is no guarantee that he fights again. He stands to make well over $120 million from the Mayweather contest. Koncz, who has been working with Pacquiao since 2005, feels the wear and tear of a long career is finally catching up with his client.
