Mex-American fans save boxing in America, more like it. Can't forget that without Mex-Americans, neither Floyd nor Pacquiao would have been much more known than Joel Casamayor.

Those weren't fans though. Those were **** that paid a lot of money to be seen. Don't feel bad about them getting finessed at all since the real people had to sit that one out.

It was hilarious how HBO ripped on Mayweather/Pacquiao so much.

I was damn near begging casuals who were angry about last week to watch this fight. I hope they listened.

there's no speculation about it, Floyd isn't knocking Kirkland out, not because he couldn't, but because he wouldn't attempt to

the risk outweighs the reward, and if you haven't figured it out in his last two fights, he's very risk-averse, i've never seen floyd clinch as much as he has in his past two fights, it's bizarre. ASK HIS OWN FATHER.

That's not really true when you think about it. I mean sure, Mex-American fans support Mexican fighters, that's a given. The vast majority of Mayweather fans are white and black. Just look at the audience in attendance during his fights.

Pacquiao's biggest base is whites and Asians. So no, you're wrong about only Mexican boxing fans keeping the sport alive. They're keeping "Mexican" boxing alive, because quite frankly, they don't have much going on right now. Canelo is their only decent fighter.

Pacquiao's fights with Barrera and Morales are what made him into a star. Mayweather rarely sold out a fight before he fought Oscar. So yeah, Mexican American fans were a big part of the equation and still are for boxing in America.
