I just checked the sheet I posted and we have identical rounds in case you haven't noticed. There is something to it.

i commend you for watching that fight again! I personally would rather watch wet paint dry than to watch that garbage fight again.

I had it 7-5 too, just a pity Manny coughed up the first two and last two because it really creates impressions when you start and finish a fight strong.

I watched the fight again on Friday and watched it carefully. My scorecard was very similar to yours. I had it 114-114.

There's a reason he signed a 6 fight contract to end at 49-0.
              This! ^^^^^^^

He actually showed his hand too soon in offering Pac a rematch and then took it back.

Wow, first the fans of #48 claimed Mayweather ran. Then they claimed #48 lost because of the shoulder injury. Now you are trying to claim that it was actually a close fight.

                It's all bulls...t!!!!!

Mayweather won the fight 10 rounds to 2. There was no dispute. In every Mayweather fight, the judges gift his opponent at least one round (one judged gifted Alvarez six rounds). In this fight, two of the judges gifted #48 two rounds.

Even Harold Lederman, the ultimate Pacquaio nutsucker, had Mayweather winning 9 rounds to 3.

Very clear rounds for Floyd 1, 2, 5. In 1 and 5, pac was completely shut down and did NOTHING. rounds mostly favorable to Floyd 7 and 8 since neither landed much but Floyd controlled the pace.

Very clear for Manny 4, 6 and 10. Suprisingly, the 3rd is clearly for Manny too (with the benefit of replay). He landed three solid rights to Floyd's chin, including 2 as Floyd was circling away and one at the bell (commentators said that Floyd hit him with a hard right but replay clearly shows that Pac blocked it and landed a clean right). Floyd mostly controlled the pace and landed some jabs which probably caught the judges' eyes but the cleanest lands were for Pac. I leaned towards Pac on the 9th, as did two of the judges. I think he had some good lefts there.

                  Adding it up, Floyd gets 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12 while Manny gets 3, 4, 6, 9, 10

Solid rounds for Pac were 3, 4, 6 and 10. I can see the judges giving the 9th to Floyd so 7-5 or an 8-4 card is reasonable for me. No point in a rematch. Floyd is too long and too quick and will probably adjust to win at a wider margin and an even more boring fight.

Another note, the right shoulder didn't seemed damaged to me. Manny didn't lose because of the shoulder, he lost because Floyd diffused him with movement.
I'm baffled at how round 10 was scored for Floyd. It was a clear Pac round. Watching the replay tonight at home with no company or henny in my system, I gave Pac rounds 3, 4, 6, 9, 10.

I agree that a 7-5 or 8-4 scorecard would be most accurate. Clear win but far from the "destruction" or "domination" some Floyd fans were saying it was.

I too agree that I saw no issue with Pacs shoulder so I won't even use that as an excuse and neither should Pac.

I had it 9-3 for Floyd watching it live. I gave Pacquiao rounds 4, 6, and 7. I was texting my brother during the fight while we scored it and I distinctly remember a couple of occasions stating that I was going to give Floyd the round, even though he was highly inactive. Case in point, for example, was the 10th round. I gave it to Floyd watching it live but when I went back and watched it there is a very long stretch of inactivity from Floyd while Pacquiao is chasing. I get that you don't get to score if you don't land punches, but if neither fighter is landing, you have to score it for the busier fighter.

The two judges that scored the fight 116-112 gave Pacquiao rounds 4,6, 9, and 10.

                      I personally can't see 9, but that's just me.

As I stated in another topic, most people have Floyd winning, and outcry from Pacquiao fans is meek at best. It was Floyd winning, and he got it done convincingly. I celebrated as much as the next Floyd fan when I saw it live. However, it's not like this was one of his best performances ever, or a clinic for that matter.

Mayweather-Baldomir, Mayweather-Corrales, and Mayweather-Mosley after round 2 was a clinic. Winky Wright-Tito Trinidad, Pacquiao-Clottey, and Mosley-Margarito was a clinic...okay, that last one was technically a beatdown of epic proportions but you get the picture.

I'm happy that Floyd won, yet surprised to see the aftermath of the fight and the hypocrisy swirling all around. You got haters saying that Floyd lost the fight (deluded), you got praisers saying it was a "masterful performance" (bit of a stretch), and then you got celebrities saying "this is boxing. the art of hitting and not getting hit", yet they probably don't have a clue as to who Paulie Malignaggi, Ivan Calderon, or Guillermo Rigondeaux are.

I'm done, fellas. ¡Viva Puerto Rico and viva Mexico!
