I watched May vs Pac for the first time tonight. I have it 115-113 for Mayweather. Don't care to argue my card or if it's right. Good riddance, bury the fight footage.

Max Kellerman just exonerated Pacquiao by saying USADA cleared a cortisone shot before the fight and that NSAC is to blame for not allowing it over a technicality...and more or less that Manny man-ed up by not backing out of it at the last minute and cost everyone who payed for flights/hotel ect...a loss and saved the event. He also said that he believes they will have a rematch.

Some pretty good back tracking by Kellerman...here we go again. A little HBO hype before the Canelo broadcast after the May/Pac replay.

So did I. I can see why someone would give pacquiao rd 3 however. He won four rounds tops.

The more interesting discussion to be had is about Floyd's style, which let's face it, from a neutral's (not casual, but NEUTRAL perspective), is a migraine-inducing eyesore. The dude has refined his style to the point where it feels exploitative of the scoring system. He's playing the numbers. It is completely risk-averse and designed to kill a fight.

Is this really boxing? Shutting things down, dipping below the waist to then come up clinching, pot-shotting, throwing check-hooks to keep the opponent of balance rather than hurt him.....

At some point, we need to ask what is going on here. Thankfully, he seems serious about retirement after his next fight, and maybe we can get back to the true art of boxing - not some dude with all the cards in his favour playing it safe and basically leaving the initiative on the other guy to make his ass less boring

Floyd isn't retiring after his next fight.

There's a reason he signed a 6 fight contract to end at 49-0.

Just watched the reply pre canelo-kirkland (skipped 11 & 12 since I had to do something but those were pretty one-sided to Floyd as I recall).

Very clear rounds for Floyd 1, 2, 5. In 1 and 5, pac was completely shut down and did NOTHING. rounds mostly favorable to Floyd 7 and 8 since neither landed much but Floyd controlled the pace.

Very clear for Manny 4, 6 and 10. Suprisingly, the 3rd is clearly for Manny too (with the benefit of replay). He landed three solid rights to Floyd's chin, including 2 as Floyd was circling away and one at the bell (commentators said that Floyd hit him with a hard right but replay clearly shows that Pac blocked it and landed a clean right). Floyd mostly controlled the pace and landed some jabs which probably caught the judges' eyes but the cleanest lands were for Pac. I leaned towards Pac on the 9th, as did two of the judges. I think he had some good lefts there.

                      Adding it up, Floyd gets 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12 while Manny gets 3, 4, 6, 9, 10

Solid rounds for Pac were 3, 4, 6 and 10. I can see the judges giving the 9th to Floyd so 7-5 or an 8-4 card is reasonable for me. No point in a rematch. Floyd is too long and too quick and will probably adjust to win at a wider margin and an even more boring fight.

Another note, the right shoulder didn't seemed damaged to me. Manny didn't lose because of the shoulder, he lost because Floyd diffused him with movement.
