Khan doesn't have the longer reach. Floyd has the longer reach.

What happens when Floyd times Khan?

Floyd has too much depth and based on the level of comp Khans facing, floyd wouldnt get credit. a floyd-khan fight is irrelevant bcuz Algieri stops Khan in the 1st anyway. In all honesty i dont care who Floyd fights in Sept.
You say you're not a casual fan... and yet you claim "Algieri stops Khan in the 1st"... Sorry, but that's something I'd only expect a casual fan to say.

Either way, Khan is on par with Floyd when it comes to range control, arguably even better because of his height advantage. Khan is also a good counter-puncher, and while Mayweather is the better counter-puncher, the Khan jabs are going to be too fast for him to counter very effectively. Devon Alexander (who did way better against Maidana than Mayweather did) tried to time and counter Khan's jabs but couldn't overcome the speed. It's going to be a tough challenge for Floyd.

It's quite clear that Algeri has had some very bad training. . . He has potential but I think it's too little too late in time for Khan.

You go on about Khan's work rate. You can't win a fight on just work rate.

Khan is an inch taller AT MOST.

Like I said, it's going to be tough to time and counter Khan's quick jabs, even for Floyd.

It's not just the higher work rate, but Khan also has higher hand speed, combined with punch accuracy and range control on par with Mayweather.

Style-wise, it's a very tough fight for Floyd. It could go either way.

Khan's legendary 'work rate' is only present when he isn't countered, usually for the first 3-4 rounds.

After that he slows down and looks average.

I can easily see Floyd putting Khan down hard in the second half of a fight.

Khan has avoided top level opposition by holding out for a Floyd payday, it's pathetic and cowardly.

Diaz, Collazo and even Alexander are not going to give Khan the type of experience to help Khan against Floyd (or Brook).

AK hits the deck in this fight but wins on points. Too much heart, that's what the 48ers lacked. He's a massive welterweight too, I think with Vergil hunters training style he will learn to out hustle mayweather in the clinch which will be key to victory, I'm thinking a split decision nod to Amir.
