algieri isn't a bum. he's not elite, either. he beat ruslan provodnikov. lost to pacquiao.

provodnikov did well against bradley when he was a top tier fighter, and he beat alvarado when he still had a bit left in the tank.


manny pacquiao is fading fast, but he's one of the greatest boxers of all time, which definitely counts for something.

As SAA said he's a world class 140lber but at 147 he's probably in top 15 territory. A fringe contender at best. Doesn't mean he's not a good fighter.
