That isn't beneficial at all, that is an angry person taking advantage of their mentor role to release their unhappiness on others who are seeking guidance.
Oh ya well in boxing your opponent doesn't stop hitting you just cuz you're hurt either

Old "tough" trainers are nothing more than ****ing idiots, it's as simple as that. Recovery is just as important and toughness and health even more so. This is why Kirkland has no chin because he's in a war everyday with Wolfe. Him leaving can only be a good thing. I don't care who was around if that b*tch threw that at me I'd pick it up and throw it right in her face.

i agree with your post until the last part. anne wolfe, unless you're a freaking bad, bad dude, could take you. she was one of the best female fighters ever, and she's not tiny. she was a MW / SMW when she was in fighting shape. that's a big girl.

        don't poke the bear.

I am 50/50 on this. Tough regimes can discipline people and also get them to fear punishment and motivate them. Other times you need to train hard but not have things thrown at you. Like say run extra laps, do extra push ups, because there's a benefit to the punishment

Who gives a **** if she can take him out, it doesn't mean he should take the balls to his body if he doesn't want it. Man up and fight, even if you will lose.

you'd care if anne wolfe hit you once. she'd probably knock you out, or down at the very least.

So what, I'd fight her to the best of my ability if she attacked me. Never lost a fight? So what, I aint no *****. I'd rather fight than be a biatch.

That is not training. It's one thing to make your fighters tough, which I agree with. It's another to do something that could possibly injure your fighters.

                  Makes no sense.

That is not training - it's abuse. You are more likely to break a fighter than build a fighter if you do that day in and day out. And even if you "succeed" you create a man who won't function in day to day life outside the ring. Pointless end result. It's a lose-lose scenario for the boxer.

She is a disgrace to the sport.
