[Shocking Video] Trainer Ann Wolfe physically abuses boxer for showing bad form

Seems pretty rough. Then again, I remember seeing some pretty hardcore **** in some old Russian military training videos, basically beating the **** out of guys. Makes em tough as nails I guess.

I respect Wolfe. I might not understand and/or agree with all her methods but she's a tough woman who grew up tough and has been to hell and back.

As far as Kirkland goes, all I know is them two together produced good results. We all know what happened the one fight he didn't train with her. Maybe he made the smart decision going with this new team, maybe he didn't. We'll find out soon enough. But I have this bad feeling that were going to see a more cerebral Kirkland in the ring against Canelo, a guy who's thinking and trying to be a tactician. I don't think that fits him, certainly not against Canelo, he needs to be a machine, a monster. But we'll see!

1) That's the military not kids in a local boxing gym.

2) Dedovshchina which is the physical abuse that goes along with hardcore hazing is a problem in the Russian military with a few hundred conscripts dying from it each year.

But really, she might have told them before they did those push ups that she was going to go in on them.

She might have even told them before they even joined her gym that she's going to do what she thinks is best for them and if they can't take it then they can leave.

That's her method of training. If they don't like it they can leave. To each their own.

I sure as hell would have split because negative reinforcement does not work for me.

But I have seen it work for others.

If that's her method of training and the fighters are OK with it is one thing...but is it cool to be doing that in front of those little kids?

Some of those little kids look very young. Kids that age are like a sponge and soak in all that they experience. I don't think its good message to little kids.

That is not training - it's abuse. You are more likely to break a fighter than build a fighter if you do that day in and day out. And even if you "succeed" you create a man who won't function in day to day life outside the ring. Pointless end result. It's a lose-lose scenario for the boxer.

She is a disgrace to the sport.

Roy Jones father was even worse then her, Boxing is not a poosy sport, your opponent doesn't stop punching you because you're to tired or hurt.
